Today is the Islamic day of Eid Al-Adha. Eid al-Adha or عيد الأضحى is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of the prophet peace be upon him Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael for Allah. It is celebrated after Hajj (pilgrimage) in Mecca. We call it sheep day!
